Professional Background
Besides graduating from Potomac Massage Training Institute in DC, John has been a volunteer at the Living Light House in Santa Monica, CA where local and visiting body workers have open exchanges on Thursday evenings with demonstrations. He has also attended workshops at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. In his travels he has received bodywork in Asia, Africa, Europe, Central and South America as well as Australia and New Zealand. He has spent time in training rooms with physical therapists and fellow athletes from the soccer fields and tennis courts. John is a USPTA Certified Tennis Instructor and a Professional Photographer from a large family so he understands the diversity of demands we put our bodies through on a daily basis. John is a Certified Massage Therapist and is co-owner of Pure Aesthetica.

Wellness
John is a Raw-Foodist (since 1993) who has experienced many different healing treatments on his quest of health and athleticism. John’s growth towards wellness has steered him to work at 2 natural health institutes (The Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico and The Optimum Health Institute in San Diego) and a yoga studio in Malibu. He is certified in Living Food Lifestyle™ Total Well-Being Education, Reconnective Healing® Levels I/II, and he is attuned Usui Reiki Master.

Professional Background
Upon graduating from George Mason University with an Engineering degree in the mid 1990's, Jodey entered the corporate world to the explosive growth of the Internet. During her corporate tenure she sought out alternative healing modalities to relieve the stresses caused by the fast-paced industry. Eventually, Jodey realized her true calling to the Healing Arts in the form of Aesthetics. She exchanged the science of Engineering for the science of Aesthetics. She attended the Aveda Institute in DC, graduated with honors and received her Virginia Esthetician License. Jodey is pleased to be co-owner of Pure Aesthetica.

Wellness
Jodey is a Raw-Food Enthusiast who has experienced juice fasting, colon hydrotherapy sessions, acupuncture treatments, Rolfing® series, and numerous face & body beauty treatments. She attended The Ann Wigmore Foundation in New Mexico, The Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico, and The Optimum Health Institute in San Diego. She is certified in Living Food Lifestyle™ Total Well-Being Education, Kinesis™, Reconnective Healing® Levels I/II, and she is attuned Usui Reiki Master.

Professional Background
Katie is board certified Diplomate of both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and she is licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Katie attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, where she completed a Master's degree of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). Katie is happily residing and doing acupuncture at Pure Aesthetica in Del Ray, Alexandria, VA.

Wellness
Katie believes our bodies have an amazing capacity to heal themselves. According to Katie "the body's sole purpose is to keep us functioning optimally. However, we need to make a conscious effort to promote this ability. We MUST make time for self care. Self care needs to be integrated into your daily routine. Professional Background
Lindsay is a Licensed Esthetician who has over 9 years of experience in the skincare industry. Her experience ranges from clinical skincare and advanced product training to beauty and camouflage make-up. She has worked in luxurious, high end spas, as well as along side some of the states most accomplished dermatologists. Lindsay studied at The Make-up Designory in Burbank, Ca and is a licensed skincare professional in California and Virginia. Before joining Pure Aesthetica, she worked in the San Francisco/Bay Area, New York City and Charlottesville, Virginia. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of Colorado, Boulder.

Wellness
Lindsay is excited to be a member of the Del Ray Community. She shares in Pure Aesthetica's philosphy of health and wellness. Lindsay has experienced many different holistic treatments to keep her skin glowing.
