Pure Aesthetica's philosophy is to help clients look and feel beautiful on the outside, while promoting well-being on the inside. Pure Aesthetica strives to provide the highest level of customer service to ensure that each and every client feels pampered and relaxed.

Professional Background
Besides graduating from Potomac Massage Training Institute in DC, John has been a volunteer at the Living Light House in Santa Monica, CA where local and visiting body workers have open exchanges on Thursday evenings with demonstrations. He has also attended workshops at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. In his travels he has received bodywork in Asia, Africa, Europe, Central and South America as well as Australia and New Zealand. He has spent time in training rooms with physical therapists and fellow athletes from the soccer fields and tennis courts. John is a USPTA Certified Tennis Instructor and a Professional Photographer from a large family so he understands the diversity of demands we put our bodies through on a daily basis. John is a Certified Massage Therapist and is co-owner of Pure Aesthetica.

Wellness
John is a Raw-Foodist (since 1993) who has experienced many different healing treatments on his quest of health and athleticism. John’s growth towards wellness has steered him to work at 2 natural health institutes (The Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico and The Optimum Health Institute in San Diego) and a yoga studio in Malibu. He is certified in Living Food Lifestyle™ Total Well-Being Education, Reconnective Healing® Levels I/II, and he is attuned Usui Reiki Master.

Professional Background
Upon graduating from George Mason University with an Engineering degree in the mid 1990's, Jodey entered the corporate world to the explosive growth of the Internet. During her corporate tenure she sought out alternative healing modalities to relieve the stresses caused by the fast-paced industry. Eventually, Jodey realized her true calling to the Healing Arts in the form of Aesthetics. She exchanged the science of Engineering for the science of Aesthetics. She attended the Aveda Institute in DC, graduated with honors and received her Virginia Esthetician License. Jodey is pleased to be co-owner of Pure Aesthetica.

Wellness
Jodey is a Raw-Food Enthusiast who has experienced juice fasting, colon hydrotherapy sessions, acupuncture treatments, Rolfing® series, and numerous face & body beauty treatments. She attended The Ann Wigmore Foundation in New Mexico, The Ann Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico, and The Optimum Health Institute in San Diego. She is certified in Living Food Lifestyle™ Total Well-Being Education, Kinesis™, Reconnective Healing® Levels I/II, and she is attuned Usui Reiki Master.

Professional Background
Katie is board certified Diplomate of both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and she is licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Katie attended Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, where she completed a Master's degree of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). Katie is happily residing and doing acupuncture at Pure Aesthetica in Del Ray, Alexandria, VA.

Wellness
Katie believes our bodies have an amazing capacity to heal themselves. According to Katie "the body's sole purpose is to keep us functioning optimally. However, we need to make a conscious effort to promote this ability. We MUST make time for self care. Self care needs to be integrated into your daily routine. Professional Background
A native of Alexandria, VA, Megan received a bachelors degree in Communications from High Point University in North Carolina in 2009 and shortly after returning home she realized that her passion is skin care. She pursued her dream and is now a Master Esthetician, graduating from Dermal Science International Aesthetics Academy in Reston, VA. She has also completed training at the International Dermal Institute. 

Wellness
Megan believes that inner beauty radiates through our skin. It is important to not only look great, but feel great too. Facial treatments at Pure Aesthetica provide just that - an escape from our busy lives as well as the pampering our skin deserves to maintain hydration, brightness, clearness and firmness. Megan struggled to keep her complexion clear, but once she began using organic products and juicing she noticed an immediate improvement in the overall glow of her skin. 

Professional Background
Lynn is a licensed esthetician in DC, MD, and VA. She has over 5 years experience in the skincare industry. Lynn started her esthetic career giving customized facials in a 5 Diamond Resort in Las Vegas to clients from all over the world.  Lynn's passion for knowledge in the dynamic skincare industry ensures that she stays informed of the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients in skincare, which she loves to share with her clients! Lynn is a firm believer in order to keep healthy skin beautiful we need a regular skin care regimen including visits to a professional esthetician.  Lynn keeps current by taking additional certification training and education from the Dermal International Institute.

Wellness
Lynn believes glowing skin comes from a healthy inside and this good health shows on the outside. She loves working with people and helping them feel beautiful. Lynn is excited about joining the Pure Aesthetica family and she is fascinated about holistic wellness. She maintains a balanced life by healthy eating and exercising.

Professional Background
Jeannie has spent the last 13 years working as a Victim Advocate. The majority of that time was spent working within the criminal court system. Currently, she works as a Victim Advocate for the US Army. She has her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. After many years in the victim advocacy field, Jeannie decided to take her caretaking abilities in another direction and study esthetics. She graduated at the top of her class at AVI Career Training in Great Falls, and received her Virginia Esthetician License.

Wellness
Jeannie believes true wellness comes from achieving a healthy balance between our mind, body, and spirit. She believes achieving that balance comes from taking care of our emotional wellbeing and treating our bodies with kindness and respect. She is honored to join the Pure Aesthetica team and eager to begin her journey as an Esthetician caring for and helping people achieve their balance.

Professional Background
A graduate of Baltimore school of Massage in 2002, Natasha started her career as a massage therapist in some of Northern Virginias top rated Spa’s. She made a move to Florida after practicing for five years to receive her Associates of Science in Massage and Bodywork from Florida College of Natural Health. Through the years Natasha has continued to hone her skills by learning with some of the most talented in the business. From the D.C. metropolitan area, to Florida, to Ohio, she has created positive relationships within the healing arts, and continues to passionately help those in need.

Wellness
Natasha leads a healthy lifestyle, by practicing yoga and feeding her body, mind, and spirit. She takes pride in what she puts into her body, by juicing regularly, making good food choices and having a passion of cooking! Natasha grew up on a farm in Southern Maryland so her love of nutrition started at a young age and has grown into a magnificent art of healing one-self through food and herbs.

Professional Background
Aubree was one of the first Master Esthetician Instructors licensed in Utah back in 2001. She gained advanced skincare experience at the Glymed Institute and through other ongoing advanced courses. Before relocating to the Washington DC area, she was an Esthetics instructor at Mandalyn Esthetics Academy and did contracted esthetics consulting for dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Aubree is a licensed Master Esthetician in Utah and Virginia. She also has a Masters of Education from George Mason University.

Aubree is pleased to be a part of the Pure Aesthetica team because she takes pride in providing each our clients with a unique skin care experience tailored specifically to his or her own individual needs using the advanced line of Pure Aesthetica products. With the right combination of professional treatments, proper home care and a healthy lifestyle, Aubree believes that everyone can look as great on the outside as they feel on the inside.

Professional Background
Upon graduating from the University of Mount Union College in 2009, Bridget interests in international relations brought her to the DC area from Ohio.  She obtained her Bachelors of the Arts in International Relations with a minor in German. With family ties to Germany and the ability to travel throughout most of Europe, her exposure to foreign cultures and their inherent beauty and charm has stimulated an interest in personal expression through healthy habits and lifestyle. She leads with an open-mind and is very interested in learning more about living a healthier lifestyle and wants to bring that to her Pure Aesthetica team.

Bridget believes that developing and living a healthy lifestyle is a main component to be successful in all aspects of life because if you feel positive, it reflects on your work and social interactions.
